Bleat it & Read

My art has been in or on several books and album covers, and now I'm excited to make my written debut with Bleat it and Read!

Whether it’s performing on stage, writing stories, painting illustrations, or playing D&D, storytelling has always been my greatest passion. While my art takes a lot of inspiration from animation, my writing takes cues from action and adventure movies (with a little horror, as a treat).

I've also spoken at Comicpalooza alongside co-panelist Jo Morrow. Our presentation, “Writing Trauma - Responsibly!” shares our fascination with the intersection of psychology and fiction, and helps writers represent traumatic events with accuracy and compassion.

I live in southeast Texas with my librarian husband and Corgi-Shibe mix, Princess Buttercup the Destroyer. We love to travel and visit museums, always feeding our curiosity and seeing friends all over the country. Ask me about my favorite museum exhibitions for an unhinged love-rant!

She is finally making the switch from fanfiction to original stories and learning all the ins and outs of publishing. She will read almost any subgenre of romance, but tends to find herself in the fantasy/paranormal realm more often than not.

Elaine Daniels writes the stories she wants to read. For as long as she can remember, she has imagined vivid characters with extraordinary lives and adventures. Her first attempt at writing a novel was a retelling of Lord of the Rings with herself as the protagonist (and Frodo's girlfriend) when she was 11. When she's not writing, Elaine enjoys reading romance novels, eating her wife's cooking, trying new hobbies, and spending quality time with her friends, family, and furry babies.
